MODELSIM SIMULATOR 5.6xe

Step1: To invoke the modelsim simulator Icon. To set the project location.

               In File menu creat the project name and using the work library.

  

STEP 2:In File menu open the vhdl source .and type the program.save the file .by entity name and file name must be same.

  

Step3: compile the program

                 

Step 4: simulate your file in design library i.e work.

  

Step5: in view menu opens the signals window and wave window

  

Step6:select the signals and give the appropriate clock values. or force the input signals

                        Then press o.k.

Step6: To select the all signals and add to wave

STEP7:To run the program and observe the results with reference to your design.
